School Horse Lessons
(Effective March 1, 2009)
Eremon Farm offers school horse leases for all levels and ages. We also specialize in children’s instruction, adult beginners and those new to horse ownership.

Eremon Farm offers both private and group lessons on our fun, safe and trained school horses and ponies. Below is a brief list of our lesson policies.
- Each new rider must participate in an introductory lesson in order to evaluate his/her riding level/skills. After that lesson, student and instructor will discuss riding goals and decide on the best lesson situation and schedule. Introductory lessons are $65.00 to $85.00 each, depending on the scope of the lesson.
- Each student must take at least one lesson per week to participate in our school horse program. Leases shall run on a month-to month basis with a 30-day termination notice required. The monthly cost for one lesson per week (4 lessons per month) is $320.00 per month. Additional lessons may be purchased on a weekly basis for an additional reduced fee. See you instructor for details on rates and availability.
- We are a tuition-based program, which means that there is a flat monthly fee, regardless of the number of days/lessons that occur in the month, or how many you are able to attend for any reason. We offer make-ups on an “as available” basis for missed lessons.
- All students must remain prepaid one full month in advance at all times. All payments are due no later than the fifth day of each month.
- In general, all lessons must be taken within the month for which they are purchased.
- Eremon Farm requires that appropriate shoes and head protection be worn by all students at all times while mounted on the property. Talk to your trainer about appropriate riding equipment.
The over all long-term goal of providing a lesson horse lease program is to give students the opportunity to ride safe, well-trained horses with A-circuit quality instruction before committing to a lease or purchase of their own. We are very proud to be able to provide this service to riders who are interested in being able to integrate into a farm and training situation before making a decision about long-term leasing or ownership.
