Eremon Farm is located conveniently just 10 minutes off I-90 in Issaquah. This new hunter/jumper facility offers the best in horse care, riding arena, local trails, training and boarder amenities. You and your horse are sure to feel right at home in this beautiful Tiger Mountain setting.
Arena
Our arena is a partially covered and fully lit 90 X 200 all-weather arena installed by local professional Rick Triplet of Improvements Plus. It is the same arena footing as featured at Bridal Trails State Park and many other prominent Western Washington equestrian facilities. A premium washed sand footing combined with Stalock™ stabilizing powder and polymer strands ensures a completely even and correct riding surface at all times and greatly reduces the likelihood of leg injuries, which can occur from improper riding surfaces. It also significantly reduces dust between waterings.
We drag and water our arena as often as necessary to ensure the best footing possible for horse and rider. We also keep a full set of jumps available for use by all clients during lessons and with supervision.
Barn and Stalls
Our barn is completely open above our stalls all the way up to the rafters, creating a comfortable and open living environment for our horses, with lots of natural light during the day.
We have a total of 15 12 X 12 stalls, each with their own grain bin, free choice minerals tray and top quality rubber mats. Each stall has it’s own set of crossties and a collapsible saddle rack outside for our clients’ convenience in tacking up their horses.
We have one cement walkway with rubber mats for shoeing and vet exam purposes. Our other walkway is prepared just as our stalls, and is covered with rubber mats for good traction coming in and out of stalls and standing in crossties, reducing the risk of injury from horses slipping on pavement.
Tack Room
Our new tack room was just completed in September, 2007. It is fully insulated for heating to always keep mold off the tack. It is also includes a lounge area for use by all boarders and clients with a full-size fridge, microwave, seating and TV with VCR for our younger guests to be entertained while lessons are taking place.
Wash Rack
Our wash rack is roomy, well lit and has both hot and cold water for year-round bathing. There is also a tack hook and saddle rack designated for that area to clean your tack with ease.
Paddocks
Our turnouts are intended for all weather conditions. Each paddock consists of all-weather footing, providing excellent drainage and eliminating mud. They also contain individual water troughs. Eremon Farm provides turn out seven days per week for three hours per day, rain or shine, unless otherwise specified by client.
We are also happy to apply turnout rugs and boots at owner’s discretion. We also hose off the horses’ legs, if necessary, before returning them to their stalls.
Other Amenities
Eremon Farm also offers laundry facilities for use by boarders and lesson clients. Laundry rules are as follows:
- All users must provide their own detergent.
- If the dryer is used, the lint trap must be cleaned after each usage.
- Users must use good judgment when determining the amount of laundry the washer can handle at one time. If the machine breaks due to overloading, it will be the responsibility of the user.
- If your laundry leaves a dirt mess behind, users are expected to clean machines and sweep out any debris left behind.
- ALL laundry MUST be cleared out of machines and laundry room after use.
- All special items that must be line dried should be hung in the specified places for such, and not left on the machines, in the laundry room or in other undesignated areas.
- In general, the laundry room should be left in the manner it was before the user started.
- Eremon Farm cannot be responsible for any damage caused to items being laundered in the facility.
We are pleased to offer this amenity to our boarders and clients. Therefore, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your instructor so we can ensure proper usage and continued enjoyment of this amenity.
